Find your word
Click a clue or a square. Click a crossing square again, or press Space, to switch Across and Down.
Make your way
Type letters to move along the answer. Use arrow keys to move, Backspace to erase, and Tab / Shift+Tab for the next / previous clue. Enter switches direction.
A little help
Check marks filled letters as correct or incorrect, without revealing answers. Hint reveals one missing or incorrect letter in your selected word. Easy gives 9 hints, Medium 5, and Hard 3.
A fresh start
Reset clears your entries and solve statistics while keeping the same crossword. New puzzle creates an entirely new set of answers and a new shape. Changing difficulty also creates a new puzzle.
At your own pace
The timer begins with your first interaction and pauses while the page is hidden. Click the timer to hide it. Your progress is saved in this browser when storage is available.
The finishing touch
Your score rewards a completed crossword and its difficulty, with deductions for time, hints, and incorrect checks. There is no time limit.
